Grammy-award winning violinist Johnny Gandelsman will present an evening of solo violin music, juxtaposing the work of JS Bach with works by Igor Stravinsky and Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber. The evening will also include a world premiere titled, “Pallavi, Meditation on Care,” a newly commissioned work by Akshaya AT Tucker (commissioned for Johnny Gandelsman by the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music).
