Join professor Chen-Yu Huang at Michigan State University's full-day harp event offering master classes, harp jam, workshops, and a participant recital, all in a friendly and professional environment. Events are open to harpists of all ages and abilities.

Faculty recital: Harp with Friends
8:00 pm at Cook Recital Hall
Harp Day participants and observers will receive complimentary tickets through registration.
Harpist Chen-Yu Huang is joined by Michael Kroth, bassoon; Tasha Warren, clarinet; Fangye Sun, violin; and Daniel Tressel, cello; and Felipe Villas Boas, flute to perform a variety of chamber music by Gilad Cohen, Hsiao-Feng Chang, Ricardo Lorenz, and Henriette Renié.

Throughout the day, browse a variety of accessories and strings and other harp offerings from the Michigan Harp Center
Private lessons available to schedule upon request. Lessons may take place on other days. Students are welcome to sign up for both masterclasses.

All events take place in the Music Building and Music Practice Building, conveniently located on West Circle Drive in North Campus. 333 West Circle Drive, East Lansing, MI 48824.
Due to the construction, please check in at Music Practice Building Lobby.
Except for handicapped spaces, parking restrictions are not enforced on the weekends (unless otherwise noted). There are spaces directly in front of the Music Building, and behind (south) on West Circle. If none are available, the Visitor lot near Spartan Stadium (#62W on map above) is also available. Loading and unloading of harps can be done directly in the front of the Music Building.
