An influential conductor as well as composer, Richard Strauss expanded the Romantic palette with daring harmonic exploration, ushering German romanticism into the 20th century.

Join us for a variety of songs written for voice and piano, including performances of Cello Sonata in F major and Suite in B-flat major for wind ensemble.

Artists: Melanie Helton, soprano; Zhihua Tang, piano; Suren Bagratuni, cello; Ralph Votapek, piano. Kevin Sedatole will conduct the MSU wind ensemble and serve as the concert guide.
