Visiting Our Campus

Located off West Circle Drive, the Music Building is located within Michigan State University’s most iconic and beautiful parts of campus. A must see, the state-of-the-art Billman Music Pavilion, a 40% expansion of the Music Building offers specialized practice rooms, social spaces, rehearsal halls and performance venues.
The best way to get a feel for the College of Music and to learn more about our programs is to schedule a visit. Your visit will include a session with our Music Admissions staff, who can answer your questions regarding our programs, admission requirements, auditions, and financial aid. During the fall and spring semesters, we can introduce you to our faculty, sit in on classes and rehearsals, attend a recital or ensemble performance, and meet current students. To arrange a visit, please contact us (see below) at least 48 hours in advance. Visits can be scheduled weekdays during normal business hours. Although Admissions personnel are available to meet with you over the summer, observing classes/ensembles and meeting with faculty/student usually are not.
