Faculty
The music theory program consists of faculty members with diverse interests and areas of specialization, including music cognition, music theory pedagogy, 20th-century analytical techniques, computer-assisted music analysis, 19th-century form and style, jazz theory, composition, and arranging. Several faculty members hold doctoral degrees in music theory from prestigious universities, including the Eastman College of Music, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University. What’s more, several faculty members are active as composers and performers.
