Celebrating the Music of Johann Sebastian Bach

One of Western music’s most important composers, his music has been enjoyed by audiences and celebrated by musicians for hundreds of years.
The concert will feature a wide range of Bach’s works, from instrumental concerti to a vocal cantata. The Camerata Michigan will be joined by Gwendolyn Dease, marimba, Jan Eberle, oboe, Yvonne Lam, violin, and Mark Rucker, baritone. Featured works are the Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G major, Oboe Concerto in D minor, “Ich habe genug” cantata, the Violin Concerto in A minor, and Chaconne in D minor. Patrick Johnson will serve as the concert guide.
