Philharmonic Orchestra

The Philharmonic Orchestra was organized in 1998 to provide yet a further orchestral experience for the growing music student population in the College of Music. This ensemble presents six concerts annually, collaborates with the opera theatre ensemble, and performs a challenging repertoire, with outstanding graduate students selected as featured soloists.

Rehearsals: Tuesday, Thursday (5:10 p.m.–6:30 p.m.) at 120 Music Practice Building; Wednesday (strings only) (5:10 p.m.–7 p.m.) at 206 Music Building
