Chamber Orchestra
The Chamber Orchestra, established in 1965, was one of only 16 university orchestras invited to perform at Alice Tully Hall during Lincoln Center’s Mozart Bicentennial Celebration. The orchestra has toured the states of Michigan and Pennsylvania and recorded for Arizona University Records Company and GIA Records.
The Chamber Orchestra consists mostly of graduate students from the MSU Symphony Orchestra. The size of the orchestra can range from 16 to 45 members, depending on the composition it is performing and the conductor.
