Orchestra ensembles are open to all MSU students by audition. They include the Symphony Orchestra and the Concert Orchestra. For details, click on one of the links at left.

- Auditions for strings will be held August 28-30. (Note: auditions for brass, woodwinds, and percussion will be held jointly for orchestra and bands this year. For more information on brass, woodwinds, and percussion auditions, click here.)

For Concert Orchestra

A five-minute hearing will be required to demonstrate ability and for seating purposes for acceptance into the Concert Orchestra. Hearing dates are as follows:
- Monday, August 29, 7:00-9:00 p.m. – Room 245 Music Building
- Tuesday, August 30, 7:00-9:00 p.m. – Room 245 Music Building
