Women's Chamber Ensemble Audition information

FALL/SPRING 2007-08

Women’s Chamber Ensemble will be auditioning separately from Chorale/State Singers.  All singers must audition, regardless of previous membership.  It is expected that singers will participate the full year as limited spaces are available.

Audition sheets will be posted by Wednesday, August 22 on the door at RM 205 MPB.  Please sign up for an audition time.  You will be asked to vocalize and to prepare an excerpt to perform without piano.

Women’s Chamber Ensemble has been invited as a featured performer at the American Choral Director’s Association Central Division Convention!

Additional Information:

If you are a music major, you must ALSO sing in either State Singers or Chorale, as assigned.  This does not apply to non-majors.

Music majors may sing without signing up for credit if already paying for an ensemble.

Music will be available for purchase.  Please bring checkbooks to the first rehearsal.
